Fahrion GmbH invests in modern CNC milling machine for front panels
The machine has a rigid, vibration-free design, ensuring exceptionally good surfaces, especially in front panel production. Linear guidance and ball screws guarantee high precision. The extremely high-speed spindle works at up to 60,000 rpm. This enables the use of very small milling cutters, which make rectangular cut-outs with small corner radii possible. These are often required by our customers, especially for front panels. The machine is equipped with a 3D precision probe and optics to accurately measure workpieces. In addition, the machine's rigid build allows feed speeds of up to 22 m/min.
As the machine was too large to be transported inside the building, an entire section of windows had to be temporarily removed and the machine lifted to the upper floor using a special crane.
